The Saptam Gruh Lineage
Shri Vitthalnathji Gusainji established seven distinct lineages, known as the Saptam Gruh (Seven Houses), headed by his seven sons. Each house was entrusted with the service of a specific, ancient Swaroop (deity manifestation) of Lord Krishna:
1. Pratham Gruh (First House - Kota/Mumbai): Shri Mathureshji - The four-armed deity holding Shankha, Chakra, Gada, and Padma.
2. Dwitiya Gruh (Second House - Nathdwara): Shri Vitthalnathji - Lord standing gracefully with hands placed on His hips.
3. Tritiya Gruh (Third House - Kankroli): Shri Dwarkadhishji - The royal Lord of Dwarka with a silver chest.
4. Chaturth Gruh (Fourth House - Gokul): Shri Gokulnathji - Lord holding a flute with four arms, representing Gopi love.
5. Pancham Gruh (Fifth House - Kamvan): Shri Gokulchandramaji - A dark wooden deity playing the flute under a tree.
6. Shashth Gruh (Sixth House - Chhipabar): Shri Bal Krishnaji - The infant Lord crawling with a butter ball.
7. Saptam Gruh (Seventh House - Kamvan): Shri Madanmohanji - The Lord of divine attraction.
The central deity of the entire path is Shri Govardhannathji (Shrinathji), whose primary Haveli is in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, where the Tilkayit (head spiritual leader) resides.
