The Divine Art of Shringar and Seasons

Shringar in Pushtimarg is a fine art and a direct expression of love. It involves adorning the deity of Shri Shrinathji with intricate garments (Vastra), gold and gem-studded jewelry (Abhushan), and fresh flower garlands (Phool Mandli).

Each season has a specific color scheme and style:
- Vasant/Holi: Yellow, saffron, and white garments. Splashing of organic red powder (Abir/Gulal) and saffron-scented water.
- Grishma (Summer): White muslin (Mulmul) fabrics. Sandalwood paste (Chandan) is applied to the deity's body, and khus curtains and ice are used to keep the Lord cool.
- Varsha (Monsoon): Deep greens and blues with gold-brocade pichhwais depicting rains, peacocks, and lightning. The Lord sits in Hindolas (swings).
- Shishir (Winter): Rich velvets, silks, and warm quilted garments (Vaghas) with an angithi (fire embers) placed nearby to provide warmth.
